Little Last Light

Build your defenses, guide your lantern, and survive until dawn.

Little Last Light is a small survival game that combines turret placement with active dodging. Arrange your defenses before each run, then guide your lantern through growing waves of enemies while your turrets fire automatically.

Your light is both an opportunity and a risk. Turn up the brightness to earn energy faster, but attract enemies faster, too. Stay close to your damage turrets to strengthen them, or venture out to collect temporary powerups.

When your light goes out, spend your earnings on permanent upgrades, rethink your layout, and try again. Survive until the final boss arrives at 15 minutes, then defeat it to bring on the dawn.

• Plan your defense: combine automatic guns, slowing pulses, long-range Watchlights, and explosive Ember Pots.
• Keep moving: dodge charging enemies, dangerous pools, and boss projectiles.
• Grow stronger between runs: upgrade your lantern and turrets with the energy you earn.
• Seize an opening: collect powerups that boost your income, summon a temporary turret, unleash a blast, or freeze your enemies.
• Find your challenge: use adjustable assistance and visual accessibility settings, or compete on the online leaderboards with unassisted runs.

Play in your browser or download for Windows and Linux. Supports mouse and keyboard or controller; leaderboard username entry requires a keyboard. Progress saves locally.

How long can you keep the last light alive?

This is just a short around 2h game I did to learn Godot and to scratch my own itch of the type of games I like, tower defense, bullet hell survivor and incremental games. Almost all the code was AI generated (using GPT 6 Astra). I had so much fun playing the game that I figured I would share.
